Chris Kemp

Chris has been working in the marine industry since 1991 beginning as a deckhand on commercial fishing vessels. He has been in the hydrographic, offshore and geophysical survey field since 1999 intimately involved with all phases from data collection, processing, and chart production to reporting.

He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and has been a licensed Professional Land Surveyor since 2003 with active registrations in Alaska, Washington and Oregon. He is also an National Society of Professional Surveyors Certified Hydrographer.

He managed a branch office for a hydrographic survey company from 2007 to 2017, securing and managing long-term projects with NASA and the United Stares Army Corps of Engineers as well as nearly a hundred other projects in the private sector both nationwide and internationally.

Signe Johnson

Signe has been working in the marine industry since she fell in love with the water as a deckhand for an Alaskan glacier cruise in 2011.

She now holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is a survey technician with 6+ years of experience performing hydrographic and marine geophysical surveys. She has worked on projects for a diverse group of clients including National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NASA, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers. She is involved in all aspects of projects from field to finish.
