Mohn’s Ridge mineral Deposit auv Expedition (2018)
Provided shipboard lead data processing services for high resolution synthetic aperture multibeam sonar data, multibeam and interferometric swath bathymetry acquired by the clients HUGIN 3000 Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). The project area was approximately 90 km x 35 km in water depths between 1200 and 3500 meters.
vancouver island Lake Cable Route Survey and Desktop Study(2017/2018)
Marker Offshore completed a cable route survey and desktop study for a proposed fiber optic cable in British Columbia. The scope of work included hull mounted multibeam and backscatter with a Norbit iWBMS, Edgetech 4125 towed sidescan, bottom sampling and topographic survey at proposed landing sites.
Strait of Georgia Submarine Cable Route Survey and Desktop Study(2017)
Marker Offshore provided operational survey management, geophysical data processing and desktop study reporting for a 72 km cable route across the Straits of Georgia in British Columbia, Canada. The survey scope included multibeam sonar, sidescan, magnetometer and bottom sampling along the preliminary route.
Brightwater Marine Outfall Inspection (2017)
Marker Offshore was contracted to provide Lead Inspector and QA/QC oversight for an ROV based video inspection and diffuser elevation measurements of the Brightwater Marine Outfall in Puget Sound, Washington. Inspections were performed utilizing the client’s Seaeye Cougar XT vehicle. Processing scope included computation of outfall free-spans and assessment of long-term geomorphology in the vicinity of the outfall.
Clover Pass Multibeam Survey (2017)
Marker Offshore conducted a hydrographic survey of a 10 square km area of Clover Pass in Ketchikan, Alaska. The project was done in conjunction with Seahorse Geomatics to collect research and development data for the Norbit iWBMS high resolution multibeam echosounder.
Bangor and Indian Island floating barrier repair Navigation Support(2018)
Provided tug and barge positioning and navigation for the replacement of mooring wires for floating barriers at two Naval facilities in Washington.
